Product Description
The planter is great for growing strawberries, herbs, succulents, flowers, peppers, lettuce, and much more in a one square foot vertical space. Water from the top and with the flow through design you will not need to worry about over watering or root rot. If indoors, the bottom drip tray will catch any mess from occurring after a watering. Also, you could break the 5 layers into two separate planters having a mini 2 tier herb garden and 3 tier strawberry planter. If you are growing hydroponically this is also the product for you. Mr Stacky is here to help. Happy Gardening :)

I haven't had any trouble with it falling over even though I have nothing anchoring it. It seems fairly sturdy when well-watered, and we have seen some good winds here since I set it up and my toddler regularly pokes at it.
I'm really wondering how this will hold up next year, since in my experience a lot of plastic containers will break down and become brittle with the weather. If it holds together well, I'll probably get more next year!
5/3/2017 update: I have 3-6 strawberries growing per plant! Unfortunately, my mom's strawberry plants died, though after discussion, we realized she had both been moving it inside/outside with the cold and keeping it in the shade, so both factors may have contributed to their demise. Dad loves the look of it though and they're both excited to have learned from the experience and try again another time. Also my toddler did pull off the top layer once. However, I was able to easily stick the freed dirt/plants back and place and no harm seems to have come from their little adventure.
5/13/2017: update: I'm harvesting strawberries every 3 days and collecting ~8 strawberries each time. They're mostly smallish, but it's an ever-bearing variety, so no surprise there. They are more tart than expected for the variety. Research suggests it might be a spacing issue, but on examination several of the "pots" appear low on soil, so I'll fix that and hopefully get sweeter strawberries moving forward. Handy thing about this container is I could easily move the whole thing into the cage with my blueberry bushes, protecting it from birds, rabbits, and other wildlife. Though tart, we are definitely enjoying them.
7/29/2018 update: I fell behind on watering last year and all my plants in this planter died. The ones I planted in the garden survived and fruits this year. I don't regret my purchase, but I think I'll wait until I have a better watering system before I use this again.

Other than that, everything was fine the various parts of it. It is extremely easy to assemble and comes with a bottom drip pan, which is great for keeping a bit of moisture, but the bottom part does not give it the expected sturdiness. Maybe it needed some 'feet'.
I love the 'flow through' design, which makes watering the plants very easy.
This is not the best photo. There are more plants on the other side of the tower garden. I have filled it up more since. Time will show how well everything will grow in this tower garden. I am very confident that this system works great once the plants start growing after a few days.
I only gave it 4 overall stars because I could only apply 3 to the sturdiness scale. If this tower garden came with a turntable as a drip tray, this would make handling it much easier when it is filled up. If you want to turn it and move it around, you have to carefully pull it so it won't tip over from the weight. You can't pick it up since the 5 tiers come apart in that case.
If it keeps up well this summer, I will very likely get 1-2 more and also give some as gifts to friends. I will gladly write an update after I had used it for a while longer. At this point, I would recommend it to others, who need something not too large in their garden/yard or on their balcony.

Setup and planting was easy and fun though. But, with spring storms the stack toppled not once, not twice but three times and I had to redo a lot of it. So the problem with this stack is that it is top heavy and given that it is not very big does not have a solid base to stand on. Therefore, you will have to secure the entire stack or place it somewhere where it can still get good sun for your plants, yet is not exposed to wind. My solution is to take some rope and bind the entire stack together so the pieces do not come apart and place it in a somewhat wind protected area, possibly tying it down further.
Definitely looking forward to the harvest though, the plants are doing well and thriving.
A good modification would be to provide for a heavier base that the stack clamps to, and also stack pieces the clamp down on each other, rather than just sit on each other. Some type of interlocking mechanism with maybe a quick twist on should help a bunch here.
